Currently CSC has become one of China’s largest brokers of wealth management products, providers of the design service for wealth manage ment products, and providers of investment advisory service. In 2008, CSC secured its strong presence in the area of distributing bank’s wealth management products. As one of most important partners of 15 largesized domestic commercial banks, CSC served as the broker for 47 projects of distributing bank’s wealth management products, with total amount of RMB 76.4 billion. By the end of 2008, the size of the cooperative projects between CSC and banks reached over RMB 65 billion. In order to promote our business with institutional customers, CSC attaches great importance to the design of financial products and makes significant efforts to improve the quality of investment advisory service. Through persistent efforts, we achieved dramatic breakthroughs and outstanding results in the area of investment advising in 2008, including becoming one of first securities companies that issue FOF wealth management products in partnership with commercial banks, providing investment advisory and management service for the annuities of a number of large-sized state-owned enterprises,and acting as fincial advisor for industry mergers and acquisitions undertaken in China by large-sized foreign-funded financial institutions. In order to widen the scope of services for institutional customers and improve the quality of services, CSC has made great efforts to promote the innovations in business and products. To this end, CSC has conducted active exploration in the area of block trading, market value management, structured finance, equity mergers and acquisitions, and cash management.
